Public pools

Darwin City Council has three excellent swimming pools located at Parap, Nightcliff and Casuarina. The pools are normally open seven days a week, closing on Good Friday and Christmas Day. The opening times posted below can vary throughout the year due to special events and maintenance issues, so to avoid any disappointment it is best to contact your local pool before you head down for a dip.

Pool Toy

Council is pleased to announce the arrival of its new pool toy, which is an initiative to provide activities for young people throughout the municipality. The inflatable pool toy will be in operation at Casuarina Swimming Pool each Sunday, commencing 28 October from 1pm to 3pm and throughout the school holidays.

Cost: $3 per person for two hours OR $95/hour for private hire at parties or special events.
