Home swimming poolsThe Northern Territory Government has introduced stringent regulations to ensure that toddlers and young children who can't swim are safe in yards containing swimming pools. Home owners can claim a rebate for installing an approved fence around their pool. Fencing of Darwin's private swimming pools is administered by the Water Safety Branch.
