Fun Bus - Mobile Playgroup

The Fun Bus is a mobile playgroup service jointly funded by Darwin City Council and the Northern Territory Government and an invitation is extended to parents, carers and children from infants to 5 years to attend.

The Fun Bus operates weekdays between 9:30 and 11:30 am for 46 weeks per year between February and December. For 6 weeks during the wet season, the venue is the Malak Community Centre and then for the rest of the year it operates at various outdoor venues throughout the municipality. A qualified coordinator plans each session and participation is free!

So, slip on some shoes and cool clothing for outdoor fun, slop on some sunscreen (provided) and slap on a hat and come along and have some fun and meet new friends. Just bring a piece of fruit to share at morning tea!

Fun Bus Venues are encouraged to be 'smoke free' for the health and wellbeing of all children, parents and carers who use the service.

Please note the Fun Bus operates during school holidays except the December/January school holidays and does not operate on public holidays.
