Advertising and signage

If you want to place an advertising sign along a roadway or anywhere in a public place, you will need a permit from the Darwin City Council. As well, any advertising sign exhibited in other areas that can be seen from a roadway or public place may require a permit, so it is best to check if you're not certain.

You can obtain copies of the Outdoor Advertising Signs Code by downloading it from here in .pdf format. PDF files requires Adobe Acrobat Reader which is a free download from www.adobe.com.
