Strategic direction

In 2001, Darwin 's Sister Cities Program underwent an independent review, which resulted in recommendations on the development and future direction of the program. Progress was evaluated over the following two years, during which time, a number of policies and operating procedures were developed and refined to ensure the program was delivered efficiently.

The review period was concluded in August 2003 with the development of Darwin's Sister Cities Program Handbook , which provides a framework for all program operations. A copy of the handbook can be obtained from the Sister Cities Project Officer.
