Stuart memorial

The 'Eye of the Explorer' is a public art memorial to the explorer John McDouall Stuart. Darwin City Council commissioned Darwin artist Roland Koch Laurie to design and construct the site specific work located in Bicentennial Park at the corner of Daly Street and The Esplanade, the northern end of the Stuart Highway.
