Council responds to Graffiti

Council is working in partnership with the NT Police to address the rise of graffiti vandalism across the municipality.

A reporting hotline - 89 300 300 - has been established for residents to phone in and report graffiti. If the vandalism occurs on Council property, removal will be arranged as soon as possible.

For reports on private property or government assets, Council will advise the property owner of the report and also the NT Police for inclusion on the graffiti database.

Council is also offering a reward for any information regarding graffiti vandalism of Council property that leads to the successful prosecution of perpetrators.

As there are numerous ways to respond to graffiti, a draft management plan has been presented to Council and your views and comments are invited. Please use the community questionnaire when providing feedback.
